First, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful showing and support we received for the first Bull and Shrimp Roast presented by the Bailey Bullock Heart and Soul Foundation on Saturday, May 6th, 2023. I want to reiterate my thanks to the Bull Roast Committee Members, including Ginger Miller, Jennifer Clarke, Cassondra Dorsey, Sara Gutowski, Vera Howard, and Kristi Burke. I would also like to thank our IT Coordinator, Jeff Gutowski, from Break the Image. This event would not have been possible without their continuous support and hard work.

I would also like to thank our fantastic emcee, Kristy Breslin from WJZ, for keeping the energy high and the importance of CPR/AED training on everyone’s mind. I would also like to thank DJ BABS from Jimmy T Entertainment for keeping the night lively with her music and dancing! Together, we raised over $20, 000! With this, we can continue to provide scholarships and AEDs for the community.

Our first recipients of the $5, 000 Bailey Bullock’s Heart and Soul Foundation Scholarship are Akil Jones (John Carroll ’23), Andrew Evans (John Carroll ’23), Noah Miller (John Carroll ’23), and Adam Lingelbach (Patterson Mill High School ’23). We are very proud and honored to present this scholarship to these individuals as they exemplify what it means to be athletes, extraordinary members of their community, and scholars in pursuit of higher education.

We are also very proud to present AEDs to the Hazelwood Elementary School, and We Rock the Spectrum staff!
